BEWARE OF STEAM

We do not advocate the use of STEAM on a mattress. Manufacturers warn against any moisture. Steam can degrade memory foam, may void warranty, wet the mattress causing mould, shrinkage or rust springs. Most carpet cleaners use the vacuum they clean the carpets with, which is largely ineffective for a mattress, even with a 'power head'.

As a guideline, most operators charge a minimum call out fee of $77.00 (1 x Double size mattress clean).

MATTRESS STAINS / URINE TREATMENT
Generally, we can significantly reduce if not eliminate the stain area and completely remove any odour associated with a bodily fluids stain. Naturally, the result can be dependant on the age of the stain, mattress material and various other factors.

As soon as you become aware of a body fluids stain, especially urine, blot up any excess with a paper towel and DO NOT apply any household products – they tend to mask the stain and inhibit resurrection.

PILLOW TREATMENT
Pillows are just as important, if not more so. To the protect against dust mite allergic reaction we can apply a non toxic spray that leaves your pillow hygenically clean.

MOULD TREATMENT
We use a combination of vacuum and UVC light that treats the mould. This would be a small additional charge to our mattress service depending on the area the mould occupies.
